The Media & Data degree programme imparts both a technical understanding with creative media skills. Guided by experienced industry professionals, you’ll learn how to analyse complex datasets, identify media trends and develop well-founded strategies for digital platforms. You’ll become familiar with the latest tools, paving your way toward an exciting career in analytics, media planning or digital marketing. Academic foundations give your creativity a broad base — and your future a solid framework. You can also complete your bachelor’s degree alongside your job thanks to the modular study model and extensive online teaching.

A bachelor's degree at SPARKS is divided into 30 individual modules, which you take one after the other. This allows you to concentrate on one topic for four weeks while still having time for a job. Each module consists of three weeks of self-study (interrupted by virtual classrooms), a few days of attendance, and enough time to prepare for the exam (or practical work) in the last week.

Applications for state recognition of the university and accreditation of the degree programmes have been submitted to the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts and the Science Council. We expect the process to be completed by mid-2026.
