CRAFT modules provide practical guidance to help you formulate your own answers. For example, you’ll learn how to develop a creative strategy—and then use AI to turn it into compelling communication.

A bachelor's degree at SPARKS is divided into 30 individual modules, which you take one after the other. This allows you to concentrate on one topic for four weeks while still having time for a job. Each module consists of three weeks of self-study (interrupted by virtual classrooms), a few days of attendance, and enough time to prepare for the exam (or practical work) in the last week.

Artificial intelligence has long been an integral part of creative design processes. In the Design & Arts program at SPARKS, you learn how to translate AI-generated images into powerful visual concepts as a prompt artist and use AI as a tool in your creative work. Practice-oriented and with a direct connection to the industry, you will always be up to date with the latest tools.

Visual marketing decides attention, trust, and purchase in fractions of a second. The Design & Arts program at SPARKS teaches you how to make brands tangible through considered branding, cross-channel visual design, and impactful campaign concepts. The Design & Arts program at SPARKS University prepares you for the communication landscape of tomorrow with a modern blend of digital and analog creative work. In the creative environment of Munich’s Werksviertel district, you’ll learn in small groups from design professionals with real-world experience. The flexible study model combines online learning with intensive on-campus sessions - ideal for studying while working. Over 30 four-week modules, you’ll dive deep into topics like brand design, UI/UX, social media design, 3D/spatial design, film editing, and coding & prompting. Academic modules in communication, psychology, and data science round out your profile. With the Bachelor of Arts in Design & Arts - 210 ECTS, state-recognized - you’ll be perfectly positioned to pursue a career in the design field.
After completing your Design & Arts degree, many doors will be open to you. You can start your career as a graphic designer, brand designer, art director, or UI/UX designer at agencies, design studios, or companies. Many graduates also begin as freelancers or start their own creative studio. If you want to delve even deeper, you can follow up your bachelor’s degree with a master’s in Design or a related field.
