Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

Overview

Your style, your aesthetics — shape the world of communication with us.

Do you see the world in images and want to turn your passion for art and design into a profession? The Design & Arts degree programme opens up all the possibilities: you’ll learn how to transform ideas into powerful visual concepts and enrich both the analog and digital media world with fresh design. You’ll develop creative solutions that are visually compelling and intellectually engaging. With up-to-date expertise and guidance from renowned designers, you’ll gradually sketch out your career in media, agencies, studios or the independent creative scene. Academic foundations give your creativity a broad base — and your future a solid framework. You can also complete your bachelor’s degree alongside your job thanks to the modular study model and extensive online teaching.

Design & Arts is more than just beautiful design. It’s about strong ideas and understanding economic, social and cultural contexts. If you want to make an impact or create change through design, SPARKS is exactly the right place for you.

Your career in communication.

From creative concepts to data-driven strategies — we show you the wide range of career paths open to you after graduation.

Our study model.

A bachelor's degree at SPARKS is divided into 30 individual modules, which you take one after the other. This allows you to concentrate on one topic for four weeks while still having time for a job. Each module consists of three weeks of self-study (interrupted by virtual classrooms), a few days of attendance, and enough time to prepare for the exam (or practical work) in the last week.
